Moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming

Last couple of days were spent doing small repairs to RV by Dave and I spent it sewing.  I wanted to get a couple of baby quilts done and mailed out before we left Casper and I succeeded.
One of 3 baby quilts and a stuffed animal to match made while in Casper
Have to say our stay in Casper was productive.  We only had 2 goals:  to see Fort Laramie and to see Independence Rock, but got a bonus of seeing Register Cliff, the Oregon Trail National Historical Site where the ruts from the wagons were so visible, seeing Devil's Gate, Martin's Cove and Mormon Handcart, Split Rock, Alcova Reservoir, finding out and visiting the Braille Trail up in Casper Mountain, and stumbling across Crimson Dawn Park.
A bonus from the other night!
North Platte River right behind our campground
Us, taken yesterday, Casper Mountain in rear distance

We wanted to be in Cheyenne for a bit to get our windshield on the car replaced.  When we called in the claim they suggested that we would have access to more auto glass places there.  So, we packed up this morning and got on the road by 9am and headed south to Cheyenne.  We had visited a vet while in Casper and suggested we give Buddy Dramamine with recommended dosage.  We drugged him up this morning, waited the one hour, then off we went.
Sitting on the table, Buddy said -  "Ah, I feel loopy!"
Our ride was very uneventful.  A tidge boring.  Wide, open nothingness.  Crossed over the North Platte a couple of times, saw the crossing of the emigrants' trails.  Only weird thing we saw was a herd of horses AND pronghorn antelope running full tilt.  Wondered why.  Same thought - if your dog got out and ran away, you could see him for the next week running into the distance.
It's wide here
Wondered what made them run?
Did not see trail ruts in this area
Followed the North Platte River until we got to Douglas where it veered off to the east.  We could see the Laramie Mountains off to our right, we are currently 2 miles from the border of Colorado and 30 miles from Fort Collins and we cannot see the Rocky Mountains.
Laramie Peak
Wide open nothing
Saw Laramie Peak in the distance, elevation of 10,272.  Mostly stayed about 5500 to 6200 feet in elevation the entire trip.  Right now we are camping at 6200 feet.  Good thing we are used to this.
Stopped briefly at a Little America to gas up and met up with our neighbors from Arizona, Pete and Jan.  Handed off a quilt I made for them and chatted a few minutes and they left for Rocky Mountain National Park, staying in Estes.  Won't see each other until November.  Nice quick visit.
Waving goodbye to Pete and Jan
We are staying at Terry Bison Ranch, has an RV park, train ride to see the buffalo and other wild  animals, restaurant, saloon.  Very cowboy.  Our only goal here is to get the estimate on the window done and it replaced before heading down to the south part of Denver to visit family.

And Buddy?  Very quiet but.  When we stopped to see Pete and Jan, he came out to visit.  Seemed okay but we started up again for another 15 minutes and he got sick.  Just like before.  We are now thinking of giving him a stronger dosage (we only gave him 1/2 of what vet said).  Poor Buddy. And now?  He is sitting in the well of the RV staring out.  He recoups very fast.
