Moved from Loveland, CO to Sundance, WY

Very uneventful drive, boring, long, but still no problems.  Left Loveland Monday morning about 9am and got on Interstate 25 heading north to Cheyenne.  Within 45 minutes we were passing through the city, this time no construction on the roadway which we remembered from the last visit.
The rivers and reservoirs are at the max, snow is just beginning to melt in the Rockies
Lots of drilling EVERYWHERE
Hello Wyoming - the buffalo on the mountain by Cheyenne
Saw the big buffalo on the cliff - we think it is about 20 feet high, there was a radar something beside it and you could see how big it was.  Once we passed through Cheyenne, the road got pretty lonely.  Saw a bazillion pronghorn, so much more than last time.  A couple were right by the road and for sure, if they don't watch it, they will get smooshed by a car/truck.
Welcome to Wyoming
Lonely road
Saw this - another biggen'
Bicyclists are allowed on the interstate - and speed is 80 mph
Onward north, stepped off I 25 in Douglas and headed north on route 59,  We were excited that we would be driving through Thunder Basin National Grasslands, have seen other national grasslands in the country and thought - would be pretty.  Not so.  There is so much drilling for gas in all directions and no signage at all that we were in the grasslands.  No farms, no ranches, just gas pipelines, drilling, sub stations, and so many construction vehicles passing us in both directions.  Not a nice drive.
Roads are closed down during snow storms, serious stuff
Lots of standing water, they have had major storms
Saw lots of pieces-parts moving on highway - this is for wind generator
Got into Gillette which bills itself as America's Energy Capital and picked up Interstate 90 heading eastbound for another 60 miles to Sundance.  This is a small town right on 90, population about 1200 people, but it hops come Biker Week in Sturgis.  We are about 30 miles west of Spearfish which is near Sturgis, and of course, all the Harley Davidson to-do's during the bike week which begins in another month.  We are also about 25 miles south of Devil's Tower National Monument.  We had visited the monument 35 years ago.  I remember going there, don't remember the actual drive to it or the visit in itself.
Major gas refineries - EVERYWHERE

Saw cleanup of railroad cars that had wrecked
We will be here till next Monday when we move to Glasgow, Montana which is near Fort Peck and the Missouri River and Yellowstone River confluence.  In the meantime we will see what's to see and do while hear.
