Catching Up With Us

After getting here safely to Picacho Peak the beginning of November, we have been busy with getting reacquainted with our grand girls.  We have spent some very fun days and evenings with them, attending the youngest Zoe's dance recital, cheering the middle girl Emi at her soccer games, and having a blast with Lia - the oldest - with her girlfriends and being a teenager.  I have even found that I am listening to her music in the car just to keep 'up' with her music.  Wow.

Thanksgiving was spent at Jill and Erez's house with the girls, cooking a huge turkey with all the side dishes, and they invited friends over for a nice day.  The holidays were hectic trying to get that perfect gift and then celebrating Hanukkah with them.

Dave and I had a nice quiet New Years, Jill and Erez had plans to visit their families out of state so we invaded their home and watched the Rose Bowl football game and had traditional pork and saurkraut for dinner.

We are counting the days until our friends Dennis and Peggy arrive and planning some fun times with them.  In the meantime we are enjoying the nice warm sunny skies of Arizona, Dave is working on a cactus garden in front, I am busy making some quilts.  Love winters in the desert!
